Role Description The Acquisition Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing residential properties that meet Homevera’s quality and value standards. This role involves conducting market research, analyzing property data, and building relationships with developers, owners, and brokers to source suitable inventory. The Acquisition Specialist will manage the end-to-end acquisition process, including due diligence, documentation coordination, and internal approvals, while collaborating closely with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure alignment with customer needs. Daily responsibilities include tracking acquisition pipelines, preparing reports and forecasts, and continuously refining sourcing strategies to support Homevera’s growth and curated home portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in residential real estate, property acquisition, brokerage, developer sales or a related field.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate property data, pricing trends, and investment potential.
• Candidates should possess Acquisitions and Market Research skills to source, assess, and curate suitable properties and neighborhoods.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and negotiate with external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Program Management skills to oversee multiple acquisition initiatives, timelines, and documentation.
• Relevant experience in real estate acquisitions, property sourcing, or related fields is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and travel locally as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM tools, and basic data analysis software is an advantage.
