As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.
Key Responsibilities
· Designs, develops, enhances, tests, debugs, documents, and deploys Angular-based applications according to standards and best practices.
· Builds responsive, maintainable user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
· Analyzes complex business and technical problems and develops effective software solutions.
· Modifies and supports existing packaged or custom-built applications.
· Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to protect data and technology solutions from threats and vulnerabilities.
· Uses DevSecOps practices, tools, and techniques.
· Develops and maintains automated tests and supports quality engineering practices.
· Participates in continuous integration, pull requests, code reviews, pair programming, and shared ownership of software quality.
· Collaborates with product managers, software engineers, workflow designers, business partners, and other technology teams in an agile product model.
· Manages medium-to-large project priorities, deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables proactively.
· Supports CI/CD pipeline automation using tools such as Concourse, GitHub Actions, and Harness.
· Works with cloud and platform technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker/Rancher, and Harbor.
· Contributes to backend and integration capabilities as needed, including Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Apigee, Kafka, and related microservices.
· Drives continuous improvement, technical learning, innovation, and adoption of effective engineering practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.
Experience:
Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.
