Business Analyst - Intraday Liquidity / SWIFT Payments / Cash Management

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Intraday Liquidity, SWIFT Payments, and Cash Management solutions.
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand payment flows, liquidity requirements, settlement processes, and operational workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Analyze SWIFT payment messages, payment processing workflows, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling.
  • Support Intraday Liquidity initiatives including liquidity monitoring, cash positions, funding requirements, and transaction flows.
  • Work on Cash Management processes including cash positioning, account management, liquidity forecasting, and payment processing.
  • Perform data analysis and validation using SQL scripting, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, data reconciliation, and validation.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to clarify requirements, support testing, and validate delivered functionality.
  • Perform data analysis, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and gap analysis for business and system issues.
  • Support UAT, SIT, regression testing, defect analysis, and production implementation.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including business users, technology teams, operations, and external vendors.
  • Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios, process maps, and requirement traceability documents.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking / Financial Services.

Strong experience in at least one of the following:

  • Intraday Liquidity
  • SWIFT Payments / Payment Processing
  • Cash Management

Hands-on SQL scripting experience is mandatory.

Strong understanding of banking/payment processes and transaction lifecycles.

Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Experience working with SIT/UAT, defect management, and production support.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
