OpenPages Engineer

Essential Skills

• 5-10 years IBM Open Pages Experience.
• Advanced Java/J2EE skills.
• Familiar with JavaScript, HTML & CSS.
• Excellent knowledge of Oracle, WAS
• Strong communication skills
• Working Experience in IBM OpenPages GRC platform 7.3+ including Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, JSP Helpers, Application maintenance.
• Working in Agile framework
• Strong technical concepts to help team deliver the technical design solutions

Good to have

• Worked on task focussed UI on OpenPages
• Knowledge of MRG domain
• Experience in DevOps, CI-CD tools e.g. Jenkins
• Experience on batch jobs, shell scripting

Responsibilities

• IBM Open Pages (v8.1/8.2) – creating and amending Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, JSP Helpers, task views and underlying objects and data.
• Working with the core project team, IT Application Support, Front End users and IBM Solution Architects as required to configure and amend the Open Pages workflow to enhance the Model Risk Inventory system
• Translate requirements from User Stories/Use Cases and BRDs
• Work with the Product Owner, Solution & Platform Architects to identify changes required, create & agree necessary stories
• Identify options, creating logical & innovative solutions to complex problems
• Ensures the level of automation within the team is optimised at all times, reducing the need for human intervention in the design, development and operational lifecycles, including decisions on tooling to achieve optimal performance
• Work with the Agile Lead to ensure efficient flow of the backlog of change activities
