Mineral Processing - Design Engineer

- Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Design mineral processing circuits including crushing, grinding, classification, flotation, leaching, and dewatering.
- Select appropriate technologies and equipment based on ore characteristics and project goals.
- Create detailed plant layouts using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate systems.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations.
- Perform mass balance and water balance calculations.
- Simulate process performance using modeling softwares. Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and ramp-up phases.
- Review vendor drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Integrate environmental and sustainability considerations into plant design.
- Ensure compliance with local and international mining regulations.
- Design systems for dust control, water recycling, and tailings management.
