Job Title: Product Specialist

About the opportunity: At Ascensia Diabetes Care, we're looking for a Product Specialist to join our team who will be responsible for delivering sales and business objectives within an assigned territory. The role is responsible for executing the defined Sales and Marketing strategy by promoting Ascensia Diabetes Care products, building strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals and Retail Pharmacies, and expanding product adoption to achieve sustainable business growth.

Location: Navi Mumbai, India

What you will be doing:

Achieve assigned territory sales, market share, and business growth objectives by executing sales and marketing strategies and expanding product adoption across Healthcare Professionals, Retail Pharmacies, Institutions, and Hospitals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), retail partners, and institutional customers to generate new business, strengthen customer engagement, and increase recommendations for Ascensia Diabetes Care products.

Plan and execute effective territory coverage and customer engagement activities, including regular customer visits, promotional campaigns, KOL programs, diabetes detectionamps, nurse education programs, and other marketing initiatives.

Maintain accurate customer records, generate market intelligence, identify new business opportunities, and ensure timely reporting to support effective territory planning and business growth.

Maintain a high level of product and therapeutic knowledge while ensuring full compliance with Ascensia Diabetes Care policies, corporate governance requirements, reporting standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

What you need for success:

Bachelor's degree in science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related discipline.

A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing is preferred.

3–5 years of sales experience in the Healthcare, Medical Devices, OTC, or pharmaceutical industry.

Proven experience in territory management and promoting products to Healthcare Professionals, Retail Pharmacies, and/or Institutional customers.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM/sales reporting systems.
