About the Role

The Senior Regulatory Reporting Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the bank’s policies and procedures align with regulatory and ethical standards. This position involves reviewing KYC documentation, conducting due diligence, monitoring compliance with global and local regulations, and supporting sanctions compliance. The role demands a strong understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and the ability to assess and enhance internal processes to meet regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review KYC documentation of foreign banks periodically in accordance with RBI regulations on AML/CFT and KYC.
  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Entrance Due Diligence, and sanction checks, especially for correspondent banks involved in virtual currencies or downstream relationships.
  • Evaluate AML policies and KYC documents of foreign banks to ensure alignment with US, UN, FATF, Wolfsberg principles, and local central bank requirements.
  • Monitor and update the Wolfsberg Questionnaire regularly, proposing changes as needed.
  • Analyze and implement sanctions compliance measures based on global, regional, national, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Review business proposals and provide sanctions compliance sign-offs.
  • Approve name screening alerts for transaction processing.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting and periodically reviewing policy frameworks and processes.
  • Support periodic testing to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of AML systems.
  • Monitor internal trends and external regulatory developments to recommend process improvements.
  • Handle assignments delegated by the Principal Officer’s office.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant stream.
  • Post-graduation: Any stream.

Experience

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, or related domains.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of global and domestic AML/CFT regulations.
  • Familiarity with sanctions compliance frameworks and screening tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance tasks.
