Blitz currently engages with enterprise brands with category focus into Fashion, Beauty & Personal Care and Healthcare; helping them with 30% - 40% increase in their website conversions & increasing retention by 2x by providing best in class experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & build a 60–120 minute delivery network in the region, including last-mile delivery stations, dark stores/micro-fulfillment centers, and delivery teams.
- Lead & coach Team Leaders and Operations Executives to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction with On-Time Delivery as the north star metric.
- Use strong business judgment to communicate team goals, drive execution, and manage a fast-paced, high-volume quick commerce operation.
- Achieve operational excellence by setting up scalable processes and driving continuous improvements.
- Implement roster planning schedules & monitoring systems to ensure real-time fulfillment of customer orders within 60–120 mins.
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies, ensuring rapid order turnaround and seamless customer experience.
- Understand & fulfill client requirements related to quick commerce logistics operations.
- Manage cash handling for COD orders and ensure timely reconciliation with the finance team; continuously improve payments-related processes.
- Success will be measured by ability to scale quick commerce delivery while improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Actively drive adoption of best practices across all operational functions.
- Graduation degree (Math, Statistics, Engineering, Science, Business, Logistics) from an accredited university with 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in operations/logistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (remote & face-to-face).
- Strong metric-driven mindset with ability to dive deep into data.
- Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and handling people processes.
- Proven coaching and leadership skills with experience in building & mentoring high-performance teams.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Decisive, confident, and capable of influencing stakeholders.
- Prior experience in quick commerce, last-mile logistics, or hyperlocal delivery operations is a plus.
