We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Python, Java, and scripting, along with a solid understanding of cloud-native technologies, databases, automation, and CI/CD practices.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based applications and automation using Python and Java.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and shell scripting.
  • Work with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, Glue, Redshift, and Aurora.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Work with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Integrate and manage data solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Support data engineering and analytics workloads involving AWS Glue and Amazon Redshift.
  • Work with messaging and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues and ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and data teams to implement secure and efficient cloud solutions.
  • Follow cloud security, performance, scalability, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Python and Java.
  • Strong scripting experience with Bash, PowerShell, or other shell scripting languages.
  • Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • SQL and database management.
  • Bash and advanced shell scripting.
  • Experience with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, and Redshift.
  • Exposure to cloud-native architecture and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
