Product Owner

Growexx is seeking a highly analytical Product Owner who will be the interface between product management and engineering delivery teams, with the primary task of translating business needs into actionable, engineering-facing requirements, captured as stories in the Agile framework for manufacturing and industrial solutions.

Education and Experience :

• B.Tech or B. E. with 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, ERP, or enterprise product environments
• Candidate must have hands-on exposure to Indian manufacturing industry operations and processes
• Experience working on ERP, SAP-enabled workflows, manufacturing automation, or operational transformation projects is highly preferred
• Exposure to enterprise-level projects with cross-functional stakeholder management

Key Responsibilities :

• Thoroughly analyse manufacturing system requirements from end to end, ensuring alignment with plant operations, production workflows, and business objectives.
• Develop process flows, production journeys, operational workflows, MIS dashboards, and business process maps to improve manufacturing efficiency and user experience.
• Create clear and concise user stories using INVEST techniques for effective communication with engineering teams.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Indian manufacturing business processes, including production planning, procurement, inventory management, quality control, dispatch, and supply chain operations.
• Work closely with stakeholders from operations, production, planning, warehouse, procurement, and management teams to gather and document requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and implementation teams to translate operational requirements into scalable product features and workflows.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and requirement prioritization.
• Define user acceptance criteria and functional workflows using structured documentation methodologies.
• Support product demonstrations, solution discussions, and requirement workshops with manufacturing clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in requirement discovery sessions, operational gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
• Document functional requirements, SOPs, non-functional requirements (NFRs), operational dependencies, and workflow specifications accurately.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives related to operational efficiency, reporting, automation, and manufacturing process optimization.
• Drive proactive sprint planning and coordination to ensure predictable and high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to identify operational bottlenecks and recommend process-driven technology solutions.

Key Skills :

• Strong understanding of Indian manufacturing operations and workflows
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Good understanding of MIS reporting, operational dashboards, data analysis, and process excellence initiatives
• Experience in process optimization, workflow mapping, and business process improvement
• Understanding of supply chain, procurement, production planning, inventory, and quality processes
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Exposure to tools like Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, or similar collaboration platforms is preferred
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Ability to simplify and explain complex operational concepts clearly
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to break larger business goals into structured incremental deliverables
