Data Scientist

We're hiring a Data Scientist at Cityflo - and the bar is a little different from most DS roles you've seen.

Cityflo is India's premium daily commute: 1,200 buses and 60,000+ daily bookings across Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR and Kolkata, scaling to 3,500 buses over the next two years. Every ride throws off data - ETAs, occupancy, routing, demand - and we want someone who turns that into decisions the business actually acts on.

The role sits across classical ML, real-time pipelines, experimentation and warehouse modelling. But what we care about most is judgment: someone who hypothesises and validates before reaching for a model, who uses AI tools as a daily multiplier, and who knows when to override them. The bar on judgment goes up, not down, when AI does more of the typing.
