The Sr Data Analyst is a creative and analytical role that will be responsible for translating complex data insights into compelling and understandable narratives. The ability to weave data into stories that inform, persuade, and inspire will be crucial in driving data-driven decision making and communication across the broader organization.

Essential Functions

Analyze large datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and insights, and translate them into meaningful stories that address business objectives.
Create visually engaging and informative data visualizations, infographics, and dashboards to enhance the impact of data-driven stories.
Craft compelling narratives around data insights that resonate with various audiences from technical experts to non-technical stakeholders whilst ensuring data stories are clear, concise, and relevant.
Act as a bridge between data and decision makers making data accessible and actionable for the organization.
Continuously refine and adapt storytelling based on feedback and evolving business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Minimum six (6) years of experience including at least three (3) years of experience in a data centric role
Proven experience in data analysis, data visualization, or related role
Exceptional storytelling and data communication skills
Preferred proficiency in data visualization tool like tableau powered PIN graphic design software
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities and familiarity with data analysis tools and languages (e.g Python, R, SQL etc)
Knowledge of data storytelling best practices and experience in creating data-driven content for different media (reports, presentations dashboards etc)
Understanding of data ethics, security and data privacy considerations
