Job Description
- Collect blood and other diagnostic samples from dogs and cats.
- Conduct home visits for pet sample collection.
- Safely handle and restrain pets during blood and sample collection.
- Follow proper procedures for sample collection, labelling, storage, and transportation.
- Assist with routine laboratory work as required.
- Maintain accurate records of collected samples and patient details.
- Follow laboratory safety and hygiene procedures.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners during home visits.
- Complete assigned sample collection activities efficiently and safely.
Blood & Sample Collection:
- Perform blood collection from dogs and cats.
- Collect other required diagnostic samples.
- Ensure samples are collected, labelled, and handled correctly.
- Handle and safely restrain pets during sample collection.
- Follow appropriate animal-handling procedures.
- Training in animal handling and pet blood collection will be provided.
- Visit pet owners’ homes for sample collection.
- Coordinate with pet owners regarding sample collection requirements.
- Travel to assigned locations for collection duties.
- Assist with routine laboratory activities.
- Ensure proper storage and transportation of samples.
- Maintain accurate sample and collection records.
- Qualification: Phlebotomy Certificate / DMLT / B.Sc. Life Sciences.
- Experience: Freshers can apply.
- Animal Experience: No prior animal experience required.
- Training: Full training in animal handling and pet blood collection will be provided.
- Driving Licence: Compulsory.
- Comfortable working with dogs and cats.
- Willingness to learn and work with animals.
- Basic knowledge of blood/sample collection.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic Telugu, Hindi, and English communication skills.
- Responsible and compassionate approach toward animals.
- Ability to travel for home visits.
- Willingness to learn veterinary sample collection procedures.
