Responsibilities

Master Data Analyst – Sales Operations

Location: Mexico City or Hyderabad, India

The Opportunity

Join PepsiCo’s Global Sales Enablement team and support the PepsiCo Foods North America business by ensuring that critical customer and store master data is accurate, complete, and maintained on time.

As a Master Data Analyst, you will be responsible for processing and monitoring requests related to store creation and maintenance, including store names, addresses, customer information, and chain hierarchy. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurately reflected across the systems that support sales and commercial execution.

This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, solving operational issues, and collaborating with stakeholders across different teams and markets.

You will also have the opportunity to identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality, and support automation and standardization initiatives.

Your Impact

As a Master Data Analyst – Sales Operations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Process and maintain store and customer master data requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
  • Manage requests related to store creation, name and address changes, customer updates, and chain hierarchy maintenance.
  • Review requests and supporting information to ensure data meets established requirements before processing.
  • Monitor assigned tickets and requests, prioritizing activities according to service levels and business needs.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Provide timely operational support to Sales, Key Account Management, and other business teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of master data activities and follow established processes and controls.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor volumes, service levels, data quality, and operational performance.
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding request status, issues, and required information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and simplify existing processes.
  • Support automation and transformation initiatives, including the use of digital tools and data solutions.
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure consistent execution of Master Data processes.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree is a plus, but not required.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Master Data, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Data Management, Customer Operations, or a related area.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data and operational requests.
  • Experience in FMCG or a multinational organization is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple requests and priorities.
  • Good understanding of operational processes and service-level expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across different teams and geographies.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience creating reports or dashboards is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, SAP, SQL, Python, RPA, or other data/automation tools is a plus.
