Senior Buyer / Senior Procurement Officer

Anyone can raise a PO. We need someone who can read the numbers and the stock room at the same time who spots a sales spike before it becomes a stock-out, picks up the phone to a UK supplier with confidence, negotiates a fair outcome, and stays on it until it's resolved. If you see buying as where the business actually gets built, this is your seat at the table.

For 20+ years, Tools4Trade has supplied trade professionals and serious DIYers across the UK with Industrial Powertools, Hand Tools, and Powertool Accessories - now a £30M+ business and still growing. We're headquartered in London, with a growing branch in India, and we're actively expanding our on-site team here as the business scales. Procurement, sales, marketing and product all work as one operation across both locations, not two separate ones.

Please note: this role is based in our Noida office, working Indian Standard Time - it is not a UK shift role. You'll work closely with UK colleagues and suppliers during the day, but your working hours will follow IST.

What You'll Own

• Supplier Relationships That Matter - build lasting relationships with our UK suppliers, built on follow-through, not just paperwork
• Data-Led Buying Decisions - analyse sales trends, demand patterns and stock levels to make smart purchasing calls
• Inventory Intelligence - spot slow-moving stock, excess inventory and stock-out risks before they become real problems
• Confident Negotiation - lead supplier calls and meetings, and negotiate outcomes that genuinely work for the business
• Impact Beyond the PO - contribute directly to availability, inventory efficiency and profitability across the business

Must Haves

• Commercially minded, with the instincts to see the bigger picture, not just the transaction
• Owns problems end-to-end - no handing things off halfway
• A confident communicator who can hold their own with suppliers
• Willing and able to work on-site, full time, from our Noida, Sector 62 office

Nice to Have

• Prior experience buying for a similar industry (min. 4-5 yrs. of Experience)
• A track record of spotting slow-movers, excess stock or stock-out risk early
• Leadership instincts - ready to guide and grow with a team over time
