The Lead DevOps Engineer Is Expected To

Own and drive DevOps technical direction for assigned projects or accounts.

Make sound architectural and technology decisions.

Lead by example through strong hands-on technical execution.

Establish engineering standards and ensure their adoption.

Mentor and develop DevOps engineers.

Proactively identify technical and operational risks.

Drive automation and continuous improvement.

Take ownership of critical production issues and ensure effective resolution.

Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Ensure DevOps solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, observable, and maintainable.
