EIR - Deployment & Pilots
Origin
About Origin
Origin (previously 10xConstruction) is building general-purpose autonomous robots for US construction to tackle rising costs, safety risks, and labour shortages. Our modular, multi-trade platform combines purpose-built hardware with real-time site intelligence to navigate complex environments and execute tasks with precision. Trained in high-fidelity simulation and already deployed on live sites, our robots deliver faster execution, stronger project economics, and meaningful cost savings. Join India’s talent-dense robotics team, with colleagues from IITs, Stanford, UCLA, and other leading institutions.
About the role
As EIR - Deployment & Pilots, you will own high-priority initiatives that sit between product, operations, customers, and field execution. You will take new robot capabilities from an internal prototype to a successful customer pilot, resolving ambiguity quickly and building the operating playbook that the wider team can scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who can move between a construction site, a product review, a customer conversation, and an operating model without losing momentum or accountability.
Key responsibilities
- Own Paid pilots end to end, including scope, site readiness, deployment planning, acceptance criteria, execution, and post-pilot review.
- Work hand-in-hand with Sales team in converting the paid pilots to Signed contracts for commercial deployment.
- Translate customer and field needs into clear product, hardware, software, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate engineering, deployment, safety, commercial, and customer stakeholders around milestones and decision points.
- Build repeatable playbooks for mobilization, operator training, site support, issue escalation, and handover.
- Drive adoption within the customers Org in ramping up the deployment scale.
- Track pilot economics, utilization, reliability, customer outcomes, and blockers; drive corrective actions rapidly.
- Lead structured problem solving during live deployments and ensure lessons are fed back into product roadmaps.
- Evaluate new use cases, partners, geographies, and operating models, then recommend whether and how Origin should scale them.
Requirements
Required qualifications and skills

- Demonstrated success launching complex physical products, industrial systems, automation, robotics, or construction technology in real customer environments.
- Strong structured problem solving, project planning, stakeholder management, and written communication.
- Comfort working hands-on at sites, understanding technical issues, and driving closure across functions.
- Ability to turn ambiguous goals into measurable plans, owners, milestones, and operating processes.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work around customer and site schedules.
Preferred experience
- Construction operations, robotics deployment, industrial automation, heavy equipment, or hardware startups.
- Experience building new business lines, pilot-to-scale playbooks, or customer success operations.
- Familiarity with safety, commissioning, field service, unit economics, and commercial contracting.
