We are looking for an experienced and people-focused People Operations – Lead to own and strengthen the organization’s people processes across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have 5–11 years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, and payroll, with strong expertise in building efficient processes, ensuring compliance, and delivering a seamless employee experience.
This role will work closely with leadership, employees, finance, and other cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day people operations while continuously improving HR processes, systems, and policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end People Operations processes, including onboarding, employee documentation, transfers, promotions, exits, and employee lifecycle management.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, personnel files, and organizational data.
- Drive monthly payroll processing in coordination with internal teams and external payroll partners, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement.
- Review payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment, payroll, statutory, and labor regulations.
- Coordinate with Finance and other stakeholders for payroll reconciliation, employee payments, and resolution of payroll discrepancies.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, processes, workflows, and operational frameworks.
- Manage employee queries related to payroll, benefits, policies, leave, attendance, and other HR operations.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, compensation reviews, and other people initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee and compensation information.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, attrition, payroll, attendance, employee movements, and other people metrics.
- Identify operational gaps and introduce automation, documentation, and process improvements to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- Partner with leadership on people-related projects and organizational initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in People Operations / HR Operations.
- Proven expertise in payroll management and processing.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management and HR processes.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, statutory requirements, and employment regulations.
- Experience handling HRIS, payroll platforms, and employee databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- High level of confidentiality, ownership, and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple HR operations and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5–11 years of relevant experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience independently managing payroll and employee operations is highly preferred.
