About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to build and manage a scalable procurement portfolio that supports the company's growth, cost optimisation, technology deployments and sustainability objectives. The role will lead strategic sourcing, supplier selection, vendor relationship, inventory management, commercial negotiations and procurement governance across technology, SaaS, IoT, hardware, engineering, professional services and project-related requirements.


The Procurement Manager will work closely with Finance, Engineering, Product, Sales, Project Delivery, Operations and other stakeholders to translate business and customer requirements into cost-effective, resilient and sustainable procurement solutions. The role will combine hands-on execution with strategic supplier and category management, ensuring the right quality, value, service and delivery at the right total cost.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with Ecolibrium's business plans, technology roadmap, customer deployments and operational requirements.
  • Lead strategic sourcing activities, including supplier identification, qualification, RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, competitive evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
  • Manage procurement across technology and SaaS categories, including software licences, cloud and data services, IoT devices, sensors, gateways, networking equipment, hardware and related services.
  • Support project procurement for customer deployments by translating project requirements into procurement plans, budgets, sourcing activities and delivery schedules.
  • Build and manage a preferred supplier ecosystem, including supplier onboarding, due diligence, performance management, reviews and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, service levels, warranties, lead times and other contractual requirements to achieve best total cost of ownership.
  • Work with Finance and business stakeholders on budgets, forecasts, spend analysis, savings, cost avoidance and procurement reporting.
  • Establish and monitor supplier KPIs covering cost, quality, service, delivery, responsiveness and contractual performance.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier, supply-chain and business-continuity risks, including critical supplier dependencies and alternative sourcing options.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, delegated authorities, approval processes and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive procurement process improvements, standardisation, transparency and appropriate use of procurement/ERP tools and data analytics.
  • Resolve supplier issues and commercial disputes promptly, escalating material risks appropriately and maintaining constructive long-term supplier relationships.
  • Develop procurement dashboards and management information to provide visibility of spend, savings, supplier performance, contract status and key procurement risks.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field discipline.
  • Proven procurement, strategic sourcing or supplier-management experience, preferably within a technology, SaaS, IoT, telecom, data-centre, engineering or other asset-intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, contract management, infrastructure deployment and vendor performance management.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability, with the ability to assess pricing, total cost of ownership, value and supplier performance.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating technical or business requirements into effective procurement solutions.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply-chain principles, controls and governance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with ERP, procurement or supplier-management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Procurement or supply chain management qualification.
