Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Hardware & Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and other end-user devices.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide efficient L1/L2 technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
  • Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues.
  • Install and configure printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Perform basic Active Directory user management.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN, and Wi-Fi issues.
  • Support IP phones and video conferencing systems.
  • Perform hardware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and system health checks.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and hardware replacements.
  • Support antivirus, endpoint security, and patch management.
  • Manage and resolve user tickets within defined SLA timelines.
  • Provide remote technical support when required.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook support.
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with printer and peripheral troubleshooting.
  • Hardware assembly, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
  • Microsoft certification will be an advantage.
