Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Hardware & Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, IP phones, and other end-user devices.
The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide efficient L1/L2 technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktops and laptops.
- Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues.
- Install and configure printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and software applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
- Perform basic Active Directory user management.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, LAN, and Wi-Fi issues.
- Support IP phones and video conferencing systems.
- Perform hardware upgrades, preventive maintenance, and system health checks.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and hardware replacements.
- Support antivirus, endpoint security, and patch management.
- Manage and resolve user tickets within defined SLA timelines.
- Provide remote technical support when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook support.
- Basic understanding of Active Directory.
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with printer and peripheral troubleshooting.
- Hardware assembly, diagnostics, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with remote support tools.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
- Microsoft certification will be an advantage.
