Assistant Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Construction Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising day-to-day construction activities.
Monitor construction progress against approved drawings, specifications, work programmes, and project schedules.
Supervise construction of water supply infrastructure, including WTPs, pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, valve chambers, roads, and allied civil structures.
Review contractors' construction methodologies, work programmes, resource deployment, and site execution plans.
Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, design teams, QA/QC personnel, and client representatives to resolve technical and site-related issues.
Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.
Monitor contractor manpower, equipment, and material deployment and highlight resource constraints affecting project progress.
