About Wynisco

Wynisco helps experienced IT professionals land full-time jobs across the US and Canada. Our placement engine runs on data: 10,000+ jobs scraped daily, 100,000+ employer records, and a growing network of verified recruiters and hiring managers. The quality of that data decides whether our candidates get interviews. That's where you come in.

The role

You'll work onsite as the quality gatekeeper and on-demand researcher for the employer and contact database inside SMO, our internal platform. Two halves to the job: keep the data right — correct corporate domains, real reachable contacts, duplicates merged into the right master record, dead data retired — and find data on demand — when a specific job opening or candidate needs it, quickly build the list of relevant employers and the right people to reach at each one. We're rapidly automating the routine checks, so your work concentrates on the judgment calls and live research machines can't do, and your accuracy is measured, not assumed.

What you'll do every day

Verify company records: confirm the company's real website domain (not a job board, ATS page, or lookalike), LinkedIn page, career page, size, and industry.

Verify recruiter and hiring-manager contacts: confirm the person is real and currently in that role, attach them to the correct employer, and source a working business email.

Fetch data on demand: given a live job opening or a candidate's target profile, identify the employer behind the posting, find similar/relevant employers (competitors, same industry, same tech stack, same city), and surface the specific recruiters and hiring managers to contact at each — fast enough to matter while the opening is still live.

Find emails using enrichment tools and email-pattern logic, and act correctly on verification results (valid / invalid / catch-all / bounced).

Work the duplicate-review queue: decide whether two similar company records are the same company, a subsidiary, or a client of a staffing agency — and pick the right record to keep when merging.

Retire stale data: flag dead domains, defunct companies, and contacts who've changed jobs.

Review exception queues from our automated checks and feed corrections back so the automation gets smarter.

Must-have skills

Company research (OSINT): given only a company name — or just a job posting — you can reliably find the company's real website, LinkedIn page, and career page, and tell a corporate domain apart from an ATS host (Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS), a job board, or a parked/dead domain.

Targeted sourcing: you can work backwards from a job description to the hiring company and its hiring team, and sideways from one employer to a list of similar ones (competitors, same industry/stack/location) using LinkedIn, Google, and company databases — under time pressure.

Email deliverability literacy: you know what valid, invalid, catch-all, and bounced mean, how corporate email patterns work (first.last@, f.last@), and you've used at least one email finder/verifier (Prospeo, Apollo, Hunter, NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, Lusha, or similar).

LinkedIn research fluency: advanced search/X-ray techniques, boolean queries, reading titles for seniority and function, spotting recruiters vs hiring managers, and recognizing company vs showcase pages.

US IT hiring-market awareness: you understand the difference between a direct employer, a staffing/consulting agency, and an implementation partner — and why a recruiter's email domain often won't match the company they're hiring for.

Deduplication judgment: same company vs subsidiary vs rebrand vs different company with a similar name — you can decide with evidence, not guesswork.

Spreadsheet proficiency: confident with filters, sorting, dedupe, VLOOKUP/COUNTIF, and clean CSV handling.

Precision under volume: you can sustain 80–120 verified records a day without letting accuracy slip — and you'd rather leave a record unverified than stamp it on weak evidence.

Strong written English and clear, honest reporting of what you did and didn't confirm.

Nice to have

Basic SQL (enough to check your own numbers).

Experience in data ops or research at a B2B data provider (ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, Cognism ecosystem), a lead-gen/list-building agency, or a sourcing/recruitment research team.

Familiarity with waterfall-enrichment tools (Clay or similar), browser-extension capture workflows, or web scraping concepts.

Comfort using AI tools to speed up research — while verifying what they tell you.

How we measure success

This role has a scoreboard. You'll be measured on verified records that pass independent re-checks — deliverable emails, live domains, correct employer attachment — and on turnaround and hit-rate for on-demand requests, not on raw click volume. In your first 90 days: fully productive on the contact workflow by day 30, owning a merge queue and handling live sourcing requests by day 60, and holding a personal accuracy rate above 98% on audited samples by day 90.

Why this role matters

Every record you verify and every employer list you build feeds outreach, job matching, and interview prep for real candidates betting their careers on us. Bad data wastes their shot; great data multiplies it.
