Inspection of completed trailers to verify high quality of product by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Actively observe and promote BWise safety standards

Visually inspect quality of powder coat finish on trailers.

Look for insufficient coverage, foreign material and defects in topcoat.

Touch up any required areas by using an aerosol can of matching paint.

Check for correct welds on trailer frame, hangers and pivot point.

Verify all fasteners have been installed and tightened correctly, using a torque wrench where required.

Verify trailer is built to Sales Order, by visually inspecting trailer has the options called for on Sales Order.

Check basic function of trailer by operating hydraulics or other functions.

Install warning decals, reflective tape, and logos in a straight manner as required.

Must have basic mechanical ability and understanding of how trailers operate.

Other duties as assigned by department manager.

Physical Requirements

Lifting, bending and squatting frequently.

Standing for 8-10 hours daily.

Lifting heavy steel parts.
