APS Technical Lead

Position Purpose:

The candidate will be responsible for providing production application support.

The candidate should be self-motivated, proactive and a good team player.

The candidate should have knowledge of SQL,unix, shell script, python, Autosys

Direct Responsibilities

1. § Exposure to basic Unix, SQL and any programming language like python is required.
2. § Good knowledge of Incident, change and problem management and ITIL processes.
3. § Good communication skills.
4. § Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures using DevOps or Cloud technology is added advantage.
5. § Good knowledge of monitoring tools like Dynatrace,Autosys.
6. § Good knowledge of ticketing tools like JIRA, or ServiceNow.
7. § To work through the backlog of tasks as appropriate.
8. § To be aware of the business domain the application is being created for
9. § To participate in out-of-hours / daytime support as required

Contributing Responsibilities

§ Understand and remain fully aware of the business processes automated on the production platform. Sound knowledge of application and related platform is required.

§ Ensure requests from business users including technical and functional queries are answered without delay with qualified inputs.

§ Participate to Resiliency events (Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, etc.) to ensure Business Continuity objectives were met.

§ Maintains effective relationships with core and extended program team members, peers, senior stakeholders, and business managers
