Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Custom App/HRSD/ITSM senior developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful ServiceNow projects, with a focus on Custom Applications and HRSD/ITSM modules in ServiceNow. The candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and customization of ServiceNow solutions for custom scoped applications, as well as providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Work you'll do
As a Lead Software Engineer I on the Business Applications team, you will be responsible for:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, scoped applications, modules, and components using scripting, UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and workflows/flows.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration methods.
- Administer and support ServiceNow instances, including configuration, security, performance tuning, upgrades, patching, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to support delivery, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across the platform.
The ServiceNow team is part of Business Applications, an internal team which is focused on delivering and continuously improving ServiceNow solutions that support key business processes across the UK firm. The team works across scoped applications, Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), and IT Service Management (ITSM), partnering closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to translate requirements into effective, user-focused solutions. Its work spans the full lifecycle of ServiceNow delivery, including process design, functional analysis, testing, release support, documentation, and end-user enablement. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team environment while helping enhance platform capabilities, improve user experience, and support scalable service delivery
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience with ServiceNow implementation, customization, and administration
- 7+ years of experience building and customizing ServiceNow flows and integrations
- Experience leading ServiceNow projects focused on custom applications, scoped applications, Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Experience developing ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, GlideRecord, and GlideSystem
- Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Server
- Experience with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, portals, platform analytics, and Agile delivery methodologies
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications in Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) and IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Additional ServiceNow certification in scoped applications
