Marketnode is a digital market infrastructure (DMI) operator backed by Euroclear, HSBC, SGX Group and Temasek.
We believe that traditional financial products will be originated, transacted, and serviced more efficiently through emerging technologies, including blockchain, tokenisation, and AI-driven solutions. Working closely with industry partners, we launched our first market-wide funds platform in 2024, with credit and structured products initiatives continuing to expand.

- Data Services – AI-powered structured data and extraction platforms
- Funds & Transaction Management – Operating Fundnode, a funds transaction management and settlement platform
- Digital Assets – Multi-asset tokenisation, record keeping, and asset servicing solutions
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise to join our growing engineering team.
This is a backend-focused full stack role (approximately 80% backend / 20% frontend) where you will design, build, and maintain scalable platforms powering financial products and data services. You will contribute to architecture decisions, improve developer experience, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and help deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced fintech environment.
You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across regions to build secure, reliable, and production-ready applications.
- What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Framework/Spring Boot
- Build and enhance frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Design and develop APIs, integrations, and orchestration services
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design discussions
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Build cloud-native applications on AWS and/or Azure
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, testing, and code quality
- Improve developer experience, tooling, and engineering processes
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Champion testing, documentation, and engineering best practices
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
- Collaborate closely with product and business teams to shape solutions
- Provide L3 production support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform stability
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- What We're Looking For
- Experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems
- Experience working in product-based or high-growth technology environments
- Exposure to fintech, financial services, data platforms, or transaction systems is a plus
- Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Familiarity with software testing principles and frameworks
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
- Nice to Have
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to blockchain, tokenisation, or digital assets
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Deliver scalable, high-quality features across backend and frontend systems
- Improve developer productivity and engineering standards
