Cloud Architect

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and govern scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, and security teams to define cloud architecture and drive cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop end-to-end cloud architecture aligned with business and technical requirements.

Define cloud migration, modernization, and transformation strategies.

Design highly available, scalable, resilient, and secure cloud environments.

Work on AWS / Azure / Google Cloud architecture and services.

Develop architecture for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers, and microservices.

Define cloud networking architecture including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, load balancers, VPN, DNS, and firewalls.

Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.

Design disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and high-availability solutions.

Provide technical guidance for cloud migration and application modernization.

Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud operations.

Review existing architectures and identify opportunities for optimization and modernization.

Drive cloud cost optimization (FinOps) and resource utilization improvements.

Establish cloud governance, standards, best practices, and architecture guidelines.

Create HLD, LLD, architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution proposals.

Evaluate new cloud technologies and recommend appropriate solutions.

Lead technical discussions with architects, developers, infrastructure teams, and clients.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Architecture.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and distributed systems.

Experience with compute, storage, databases, networking, security, and monitoring services.

Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation / ARM / Bicep.

Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, encryption, security, and compliance.

Experience designing HA, DR, backup, and business continuity solutions.

Good knowledge of Linux, networking, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and load balancing.

Experience with cloud migration and application modernization.

Preferred Skills

Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.

Experience with multi-cloud / hybrid-cloud architecture.

Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.

Experience with AI/ML workloads and GenAI cloud services is a plus.

Knowledge of event-driven architecture, serverless, data platforms, and observability.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
