Job Summary
The Accounts & Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinize day-to-day accounting vouchers including Journal, Purchase, Sales, and Bank entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Finalize Trial Balance by verifying posted entries, transfer entries, and other financial transactions in the ERP system.
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, Flash Reports, and Capex reports.
- Report financial data using internal reporting tools such as COGNOS.
- Monitor and track key financial metrics such as Working Capital, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).
- Prepare and manage regular Cash Flow Statements to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Ensure timely follow-up and dispatch of documents to customers and maintain control over inward material documentation.
- Conduct weekly reconciliation of Trade Receivables and Payables with customer and vendor ledger statements.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to review overdue receivables and plan vendor payments based on collections and fund positions.
- Perform Budget vs. Actual analysis and coordinate with various departments to ensure budget adherence.
- Handle statutory audits in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013.
- Manage filing of statutory returns and payments including GST, TDS/TCS, and Provident Fund.
- Represent the organization in matters related to GST, EPF, and Income Tax departments.
- Coordinate with banks for financial instruments such as Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit, and foreign remittances.
- Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ CMA Inter preferred).
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., COGNOS).
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliances.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
