Role: Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA)
Experience: 4–6 Years
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
- Monitor database performance, availability, and health to ensure optimal system uptime.
- Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using RMAN, RAC, and Data Guard.
- Perform database migrations, upgrades, cloning, and refresh activities across environments.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.
- Implement database security standards including user management, encryption, and access controls.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to resolve database-related issues.
- Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration (11g/12c/19c or higher) .
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and OEM .
- Expertise in database backup & recovery, patching, upgrades, and migrations .
- Strong knowledge of SQL performance tuning , AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports.
- Experience in Oracle database security, TDE, Wallet, and user/role management.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting.
- Experience handling production support and critical incident management.
