We are looking for professionals with strong hands-on expertise in IoT and embedded systems who can independently handle complex hardware-software integration in a robotics/IoT environment

Job Summary

IoT Firmware & Integration Engineer (6–10 Years Experience)

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, firmware development and debugging, hardware-software integration, Jetson/SBC platforms, electrical integration, sensor integration, motion control, telemetry, and system-level troubleshooting. The candidate should be capable of independently driving hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and integration activities.

Experience with wireless connectivity, cloud platforms, or PCB design is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Firmware & System Integration

  • Configure and customize firmware for embedded and connected devices.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, motor drivers, and third-party hardware modules.
  • Perform firmware testing, validation, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze system logs and diagnose hardware-software interaction issues.
  • Support hardware bring-up and end-to-end system integration.

Hardware Integration & Validation

  • Bring up new hardware platforms and validate system functionality.
  • Integrate and validate sensors including laser sensors, load cells, encoders, IMUs, and DAQ nodes.
  • Perform board-level and panel-level testing and debugging.
  • Handle electrical integration, panel wiring, control panel wiring, and motor driver integration.
  • Verify power distribution, wiring, system stability, and industrial safety systems (E-Stop chains and safety circuits).
  • Work closely with mechanical, firmware, and controls teams to resolve integration issues.

Product Support

  • Support prototype testing, commissioning, and lab validation.
  • Prepare technical documentation and test reports.
  • Perform telemetry, instrumentation, experiment logging, and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and controls teams throughout development.

Required Skills

Embedded Systems

  • Embedded C/C++

  • Experience with SBC-based platforms (Jetson or similar preferred)

  • Panel wiring, motor driver wiring, sensor/DAQ node integration
  • Sensor calibration and telemetry/data logging
