Technical Product Manager – Software Development Lifecycle
We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong software engineering background and proven product leadership experience. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, product thinking, and execution skills to drive software products from concept through development, testing, and production release.
The role requires close collaboration with engineering, architecture, business, and other cross-functional teams to define product priorities, translate business needs into technical requirements, and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the end-to-end software product development lifecycle, from product discovery and requirements definition through development, release, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with engineering and technical teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and make effective technical and product decisions.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, sprint plans, and release plans aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, prioritization, and release management in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, architecture, design, business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and challenges and drive appropriate solutions.
- Ensure products are designed for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Balance technical considerations, customer requirements, business priorities, and delivery timelines when making product decisions.
- Drive continuous product improvement based on stakeholder feedback, product performance, and business requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture and solution decisions where required.
- Monitor delivery progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure timely execution of product initiatives.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, roadmap, and delivery status effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
- 6–10 years of experience in software development, engineering, technical product development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Product Management, Engineering Leadership, or Technical Leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST APIs.
- Experience with time-series, search, or distributed databases such as OpenSearch, ClickHouse, or Cassandra.
- Good understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into software products.
- Experience working with SaaS and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development practices and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Release Planning.
- Proven experience with Product Lifecycle Management and end-to-end product delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams while maintaining a strong product and business perspective.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance technical depth, customer needs, business goals, and delivery timelines.
