Key Responsibilities
Technical & Engineering Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications, RFQs, tender documents, and technical requirements.
- Analyse customer requirements and develop optimized technical solutions.
- Prepare technical proposals, engineering calculations, equipment selection, and application studies.
- Develop and review single line diagrams, GA drawings, schematics, BOMs, and related engineering documents.
- Preparation of CT & PT sizing calculations.
- Candidate should have clear idea on switchgear protection system.
- Candidate should have clear ide on communication protocol like IEC 61850, MODBUS, GOOSE etc.
- Ensure compliance with international standards, industry codes, customer specifications, and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, project management, sourcing, and quality teams for smooth execution of projects.
- Provide technical support to sales teams during bidding and proposal stages.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and clarification sessions.
- Address customer technical queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), inspections when required.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and system design.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications and technical standards.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, protection systems, automation systems, or relevant product lines.
- Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, SAP is preferred.
- Experience in engineering calculations, technical documentation, and design reviews.
- Strong understanding of Medium Voltage Switchgear interlocking and operational logics.
- Strong understanding of Auto Change Over, Fast Bus Transfer scheme.
- Familiarity with IEC standards.
- Real project experience designing electrical systems that power critical infrastructure
