Lead Software Engineer - Java FS Angular

We're on the lookout for a Lead Software Engineer specializing in Java FS Angular to join our team, taking charge of designing, building, and delivering scalable full-stack solutions while guiding team members and coordinating with groups across different functions.

Responsibilities

Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine details, and showcase completed work
Write code that adheres to established standards and architectural guidelines
Carry out code reviews and offer direction to fellow team members
Build effective unit, acceptance, and integration test coverage
Partner with the Delivery Lead and Scrum Masters to support smooth, planned releases
Contribute to testing, training, and implementation stages across projects
Address non-functional requirements, including performance and security considerations
Work with multiple interface-related teams to confirm end-to-end functionality operates correctly
Produce high-quality deliverables while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams spanning various time zones

Requirements

Between 8 and 12 years of software engineering background, with particular focus on Java and full-stack development
Strong command of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST API design
Skilled in Microservices architecture
Capability in JUnit, JavaScript, and SQL
Solid grasp of software engineering best practices and design pattern usage
Working knowledge of Agile development approaches
Strong communication and analytical abilities
English proficiency at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Copilot
