Your Team:
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with strong expertise in electric vehicles, particularly in battery systems and vehicle diagnostics. The role involves providing technical support to field teams, resolving complex issues, and ensuring high uptime of EV systems.

What you’ll own:
You will ensure the smooth running of ground operations for Exponent After Sales Support across the EV vehicle fleet and help customers have a seamless, hassle-free experience. From uptime and field response to team leadership and relationship management, you will play a critical role in the team.
What you will do
- Provide remote and on-field technical support for Electric vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to: Battery packs (Li-ion), Powertrain
- Analyze failure data and provide root source analysis (RSA).
- Coordinate with OEMs, field service teams, and customers for issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) for issue closure.
- Support battery swap operations and failure investigations.
- Maintain service records and prepare technical reports.
- Provide training and guidance to field technicians.
- Escalate critical issues to engineering teams with proper documentation.
- Perform and manage battery pack rework activities
- Support Design for Service (DFS) activities by providing field feedback, improving serviceability, and driving design improvements for EV systems.
The ideal candidate requires
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of past experience in After Sales Operations and customer support (EV / commercial vehicle / bus experience preferred).
- Experience in EVs or heavy commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- High-voltage systems
- CAN communication
- Electrical diagnostics
- Knowledge of EV ecosystem
- Willingness to travel extensively to field locations.
- Ability to work in shifts or on-call support (if required).
- Good English communication and fluency in Telugu & Hindi would be a plus
