Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious, growth-driven Financial Investment Advisor with 2–3 years of experience to spearhead client acquisition and wealth advisory initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our client base, providing sound financial and investment advisory, and leveraging your regulatory credentials to build a trusted, compliant advisory practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed professional who combines sharp advisory expertise with consultative sales acumen to drive tangible business growth.
Where you will create Impact
- Build and Scale Customer Base: Drive end-to-end client acquisition by identifying prospective high-net-worth individuals, founders, and businesses, converting qualified leads into long-term advisory relationships.
- Investment Advisory & Portfolio Planning: Evaluate client financial goals, risk profiles, and liquidity requirements to recommend tailored investment strategies and portfolio allocation plans.
- Regulatory & Advisory Governance: Operate under registered investment advisor guidelines, ensuring all client interactions, portfolio recommendations, and documentations adhere strictly to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Conduct regular portfolio reviews, update clients on market developments, and maintain strong, ongoing advisory relationships to drive high client retention and referrals.
- Growth & Market Outreach: Partner with internal marketing and growth teams to formulate outreach campaigns, webinars, and educational content that position the brand as a premier investment partner.
Requirements
Must-have Skills
- 2 to 3 years of experience as an Investment Advisor, Wealth Manager, or Financial Consultant, with a documented track record of managing client portfolios and closing business.
- Active NISM Certification (specifically NISM Series X-A and X-B for Investment Advisers) and eligibility/credentials aligned with SEBI Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) norms.
- Proven ability to independently prospect, pitch, and convert clients to build a sustainable customer book.
- Strong grasp of financial markets, asset classes (mutual funds, fixed income, equities, alternate investments), portfolio construction, and risk management principles.
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative communication, and objection-handling skills with the executive presence needed to advise business leaders and investors.
- Strong ethical grounding with meticulous attention to compliance, regulatory documentation, and client confidentiality.
Good-to-have Skills
- Strong marketing mindset with experience running digital outreach, personal branding on LinkedIn, or hosting financial awareness webinars to generate organic inbound interest.
- Prior experience working within a high-growth fintech startup, boutique wealth management firm, or tech-enabled brokerage.
- Familiarity with modern CRM software and client portfolio tracking platforms to run structured pipeline and relationship management.
