We are looking for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager – Human Resources to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Human Resources, Human Resource Management, HR Operations, and employee lifecycle management. This role will be responsible for supporting and managing key HR functions while ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, processes, and employee engagement initiatives.

The candidate should be an effective communicator, highly organized, and capable of handling multiple HR responsibilities independently. The role requires someone who can work closely with employees, managers, and leadership to address HR requirements and contribute to a positive and productive workplace environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Human Resources (HR) operations, ensuring HR processes are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, induction, transfers, promotions, confirmations, performance management, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and regularly update employee records, HR databases, personnel files, and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities by working with hiring managers and talent acquisition teams to support manpower requirements.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters, appointment letters, HR documentation, and other employee-related correspondence.
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies, leave, attendance, payroll coordination, benefits, and other workplace-related matters.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and organizational guidelines.
  • Monitor attendance, leave, employee records, and HR-related reports while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with payroll and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee-related information.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, confirmations, and employee development initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement activities, internal communication, recognition programs, and initiatives aimed at improving employee experience.
  • Assist with employee relations matters and help resolve workplace concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and dashboards covering headcount, attrition, attendance, hiring, employee movements, and other HR metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Human Resource Management processes and contribute to the development of efficient HR practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong expertise in Human Resources – HR and HR Operations.
  • Good understanding of Human Resources Management and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Hands-on experience in managing core HR functions.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong employee relationship and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and HRMS or other HR systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or a relevant specialization will be an added advantage.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in Human Resources / HR Management.
