Scrum Master
Flexiple
Keep four squads honest about what they can actually ship
You will run the full Scrum ceremony set, including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retros, for two to three product squads inside a single business unit, adjusting the ceremony rhythm per squad rather than forcing one template on all of them.
You will track velocity, burndown and cross-squad dependencies, and flag the ones that are actually going to blow a release date versus the ones that will resolve themselves.
You will coach product managers and engineering leads on writing stories that can actually be estimated, and push back when a story arrives with the acceptance criteria still in someone's head.
You will represent delivery status upward, translating sprint-level noise into a release picture that a VP of Engineering can act on without five follow-up questions.
This role expects four to eight years of Scrum Master or agile delivery experience, including time spent supporting more than one team at once. You should be comfortable with Jira at an administrator level, know the difference between a blocked story and a slow one, and have said no to a scope change mid-sprint at least once. A Scrum or SAFe certification helps but is not the bar, the bar is having run this before and having the scars to show for it.
The team you would be supporting
This is a US-headquartered product company scaling its India engineering hub, hiring this role through Flexiple. The India engineering org is a little over sixty people today, organised into four squads that this role will rotate support across.
Bengaluru, Pune or Remote (India), with a strong preference for candidates able to overlap a few hours with the US product team.
Expect a recruiter conversation, a scenario-based round on running a multi-squad sprint cadence, a session with two of the engineering leads you would support, and a closing conversation with the hiring manager.
This application is also kept on file for other delivery and agile-coaching roles Flexiple is hiring for alongside this one.
