Responsibilities:-
- Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire and grow government sector clients, aligning with the bank’s overall sales objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key government stakeholders, including ministries, departments, and public sector undertakings.
- Identify government financial needs and propose customized banking products and services that meet regulatory and operational requirements.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring compliance with government procurement policies and internal risk guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as credit, legal, and product development to tailor solutions and expedite approvals for government clients.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, government policies, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on government business performance, pipeline, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards specific to government transactions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Represent the bank at government forums, industry events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and influence policy discussions.
