Job Title: Deputy Manager – Legal

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Associate Manager – Legal to support Allen's legal function across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The role is suited to a legal professional with 1–3 years of experience who wants to build a strong foundation in real estate laws, contract management, litigation support and statutory compliance while working closely with senior legal and business stakeholders.

This role involves regular travel across the assigned territory to support legal matters, assist in court proceedings, coordinate with authorities and provide on-ground legal support to business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation Support

• Assist in managing civil, criminal, consumer, and regulatory litigation matters across the assigned territory.

• Coordinate with external counsels and track case status, hearing dates, and documentation.

• Draft and review basic legal notices, replies, affidavits, and pleadings under guidance.

• Accompany and support senior legal counsel or external counsels at court and tribunal hearings as required.

• Travel within the territory to attend hearings and manage local legal matters.

Real Estate Legal & Contract Support

• Support legal due diligence of land and property transactions.

• Draft and review basic real estate documents including Lease Agreements, Leave & License Agreements, and

MoUs under supervision.

• Assist in reviewing title documents and flagging preliminary legal risks in property transactions.

• Help ensure legal enforceability of property-related contracts.

Compliance & Governance

• Support compliance tracking under applicable:

Real estate laws

Labour laws

Local municipal regulations

Other statutory compliance requirements

• Assist in liaising with government bodies and regulatory authorities across locations.

Stakeholder Support

• Support business teams with day-to-day legal queries under the guidance of senior legal managers.

• Assist in coordinating legal inputs for regional business initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Education

• LLB / LLM from a reputed law college/university

Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant legal experience

• Prior exposure to a reputed organization preferred, in:

Real estate

Infrastructure

Education

Large corporate organizations

Essential Skills

• Working knowledge of:

Real Estate laws

Contract law

Statutory Compliance

• Good drafting and communication skills, with willingness to learn negotiation

• Ability to support legal matters across multiple jurisdictions within the territory

• Fluency in Telugu (Preferable)

• Proficiency in English and Hindi

• Willingness to undertake regular travel across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh
