We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Finance & Investments Professional to join a Family Office and manage a broad range of financial, accounting, reporting, and analytical responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong financial acumen and the ability to analyze complex financial information, evaluate investment opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
This role will provide exposure to wealth management, investments, financial planning, portfolio monitoring, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. The candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors while maintaining high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and financial discipline.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee financial accounting, reporting, and analysis activities for the Family Office and its associated entities.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, cash-flow statements, budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, asset allocation, and financial risks.
- Monitor investments across asset classes such as equities, mutual funds, fixed income, real estate, private investments, and other financial instruments.
- Track portfolio performance, returns, liquidity, valuations, and investment-related transactions.
- Support investment evaluation through financial modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and scenario analysis.
- Assist in developing financial plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-term wealth management strategies.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, tax advisors, investment managers, legal advisors, and other external professionals.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting, taxation, audit, compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Review financial transactions and identify discrepancies, risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior management and family members to support strategic financial decisions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial records and ensure strong internal controls across Family Office operations.
- Conduct research on financial markets, investment products, economic developments, and potential investment opportunities.
- Assist with cash and liquidity management, including monitoring inflows, outflows, and funding requirements.
- Contribute to special projects involving investments, acquisitions, restructuring, estate planning, or new business initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, investment management, family offices, wealth management, consulting, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and corporate finance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to independently analyze financial statements, investment data, and business performance.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of Finance and investment management.
- Expertise in Financial Analysis, financial modelling, and valuation.
- Exposure to portfolio management and investment analysis.
- Experience working with HNIs, family offices, private equity, venture capital, or wealth management firms.
- Knowledge of equity markets, mutual funds, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Familiarity with financial planning, risk management, and wealth preservation strategies.
