Role Overview

We are looking for a Learning Content Producer – 3D & Video to own day-to-day planning and delivery across digital-learning content production. The role turns approved scripts, storyboards and animatics into structured, trackable production plans and coordinates the complete content pipeline—from 3D assets, animation and lighting through video, voice-over, subtitles, review and quality control—to ensure work is delivered on time, at the required quality, and ready for formal review and delivery.

You will work closely with the Creative Director, Project Head, instructional designers, storyboard artists, 3D artists, animators, editors, QA teams, language and voice teams, vendors and relevant stakeholders. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role: the focus is dependable execution, clear ownership, early risk visibility and disciplined follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain master schedules for content units, segments, shots and deliverables.
  • Break briefs and scripts into clear tasks, dependencies, owners, estimates, milestones and review gates.
  • Track daily production across scripting, storyboarding, animatics, 3D, animation, lighting, rendering, video editing, audio, subtitles, translation and QA.
  • Coordinate handoffs between creative, technical, production and quality teams so work does not stall between stages.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for status, blockers, priorities, due dates, feedback, revisions and next actions.
  • Monitor workload and capacity, identify bottlenecks early, and recommend practical reallocation or sequencing changes.
  • Run concise production reviews and stand-ups, document decisions and follow up until actions are closed.
  • Establish and enforce internal quality gates; ensure only complete, checked and approved work moves to formal review or delivery.
  • Review progress and output readiness across multiple teams without replacing specialist creative or technical ownership.
  • Coordinate external vendors and contract teams, including briefs, handoffs, follow-ups, review cycles, corrections and delivery commitments.
  • Prepare clear status reports covering progress, risks, dependencies, resource constraints, decisions required and recovery actions.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders professionally, escalating risks with options and evidence.
  • Support realistic planning during peak delivery periods while protecting quality, ownership and sustainable workload.
  • Maintain organised production records, trackers, references, approvals and version history.
  • Handle work materials with discretion and confidentiality.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5–10 years of experience in production, delivery, project coordination or program operations within digital learning, animation, media, gaming, VFX, interactive content or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and delivering multiple content streams or recurring deliverables.
  • Strong understanding of digital learning and content production workflows, including scripts, storyboards, animatics, 3D and animation, video, audio, subtitles, review and QA.
  • Proven ability to build schedules, manage dependencies, maintain trackers and drive closure of blockers.
  • Practical experience with quality gates, review cycles, feedback management and delivery-ready outputs.
  • Strong workload planning, prioritisation, risk management and escalation skills.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contract teams or distributed production teams.
  • Strong written and spoken communication in English is required. Ability to read and write Hindi fluently is mandatory.
  • Comfortable working with Excel or Google Sheets and project or task-tracking tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Trello, ShotGrid, fTrack or equivalent.
  • Ability to work from the Chennai workspace on a full-time, on-site basis.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to operate calmly under delivery pressure.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in e-learning, educational video, animation, 3D production or game-engine-based workflows.
  • Familiarity with subtitles, dubbing or voice-over, language review and localisation workflows.
  • Experience with production dashboards, reporting, SOPs, QC checklists or process improvement.
  • Experience managing high-volume, repetitive content delivery with consistent quality.
  • Relevant education in project management, media, animation, digital learning, design, technology or an equivalent practical background.
