Financial Analyst II

As a Financial Analyst II at ICON, you will play a significant role in supporting advanced financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.
What You Will Do
Your role will involve delivering finance and financial management work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Conducting detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, to support business unit performance and strategic planning.
- Developing and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support decision-making processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
You will bring relevant finance and financial management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related discipline
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analytical tools, such as Excel, with experience in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) being a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
