Barista

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista with around 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and other beverages while maintaining excellent customer service and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, cold beverages, and other drinks as per standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages.
- Take customer orders and provide friendly and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, equipment, counters, and work area.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, ingredients, and other supplies.
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures.
- Handle customer queries and resolve basic service-related concerns professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and equipment checks.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper portion control.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team for smooth daily operations.
- Follow company policies, SOPs, and service standards at all times.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and barista techniques.
- Familiarity with espresso machines and coffee grinders.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hygiene and grooming standards.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic knowledge of inventory handling and stock rotation will be an advantage.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar F&B role.
- Hospitality/F&B certification or relevant training will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with relevant barista training may also be considered.
- Well-groomed and presentable.
- Polite, courteous, and customer-focused.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to learn and develop beverage-making skills.
