Could you be the full-time Depot Troubleshooting Leader in Sabarmati we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled, collaborative, and innovative teammates.

You'll ensure the efficient operation of troubleshooting activities and provide essential technical and fault-finding expertise to support service delivery, availability, and reliability of fleets and network equipment. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Core Team members, RAMS team, Project Engineering, Quality team), liaise with external stakeholders like customer representatives, and lead troubleshooting efforts while ensuring team readiness and compliance with EHS standards.

You’ll specifically take care of coordinating the activities of Trouble Shooter Engineers, but also assist with pre-work planning and skill development within autonomous teams.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Providing fault-finding expertise and technical support for train repair activities and infrastructure maintenance
  • Collating and analyzing data from system event downloads to identify failure modes and trends
  • Reporting technical issues and liaising with Fleet Engineers, Safety Teams, and Engineering groups to resolve them
  • Supporting the development of skills and knowledge transfer within teams
  • Ensuring compliance with safety notices, rules, and local EHS standards
  • Proactively escalating technical issues and supporting resolution efforts with Engineering teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Several years of technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronics fields (10+ years for senior positions)
  • Field experience (5+ years for senior positions)
  • Experience in project execution across technical, industrial, procurement, or supply chain functions
  • Knowledge of general railway systems and safety standards
  • Team management skills
  • Familiarity with EHS standards and practices
  • Desirable: RAM expertise, problem-solving skills, and data analytics experience (e.g., Defect Management Systems)
