Key Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Act as the central point of contact for all hardware asset management processes and queries.
  • Own and manage the entire hardware asset lifecycle – from procurement to retirement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records in the Asset Management Database (AMDB).
  • Coordinate with Procurement, IT Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure compliance with HAM policies.
  • Perform regular audits, reconciliations, and inventory checks to ensure asset data integrity and compliance.
  • Analyze asset data to identify trends, opportunities for cost optimization, and process improvements.
  • Lead and execute strategic initiatives related to asset tracking, governance, and technology refresh cycles.
  • Ensure proper tagging, tracking, allocation, and disposal of all hardware assets.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate policies.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Define and continuously improve HAM policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Collaborate with global IT and business teams to align hardware asset management practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Hardware Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware asset lifecycle and HAM best practices (e.g., ITIL, ISO standards).
  • Experience using IT Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SSCM, CMDB ).
  • Proven ability to manage inventories, conduct audits, and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
  • Experience in managing operations for mid-to-scale organizations is a plus.
