Role Description The DevOps Engineer role at JobBricks is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support scalable, reliable applications. This role includes managing and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, maintaining CI/CD workflows, and working closely with software development teams to streamline build, test, and release processes. The DevOps Engineer will oversee system administration for Linux-based environments, monitor performance and availability, and troubleshoot issues across the stack. The position also involves improving security, optimizing resource usage, documenting infrastructure and processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices to automate and manage environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Software Development and Continuous Integration to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in System Administration and Linux for managing servers, monitoring systems, and ensuring reliability.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to script in languages such as Bash, Python, or similar for automation and tooling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
