Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer who can work effectively as part of a larger team to manage daily incoming requests and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing Azure services, and enforcing engineering standards and policies across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a larger cross-functional team (developers, architects, testers, operations) to handle and deliver on daily DevOps requests.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
  • Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control best practices (Azure Repos, Git).
  • Own release management, including build, deployment, artifact management, and environment configuration.
  • Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources and services as per project requirements.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform.
  • Enforce and monitor Azure Policies to ensure compliance and standardization across environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in build, deployment, and production environments.
  • Support migration initiatives, standardization efforts, and platform modernization activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and manage workload, ensuring timely and quality delivery of all DevOps tasks.
  • Contribute to documentation, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.

  • Git (branching, merging, code review processes)

Azure Services

  • App Services, Function Apps, Logic apps
  • Containers (Azure Container Instances / similar)
  • Storage Accounts
  • Azure Data Factory & Data bricks
  • Azure SQL (Managed Instance, Elastic Pool, SQL Server)
  • ARM Templates
  • Azure Identity model: SPN, App registration, Managed identities
  • Bicep
  • Terraform
  • Azure Policies & RBAC

Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
