Role Description The HVAC BIM Modeller is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed HVAC models in BIM platforms, ensuring accurate representation of mechanical systems and their integration with architectural and structural elements. The HVAC BIM Modeller will interpret and translate construction drawings and MEP designs into coordinated 3D models, perform clash detection, and support design and site teams with updated drawings and model outputs. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors, updating models as designs evolve, adhering to project BIM standards, and preparing documentation for digital delivery. The role also includes supporting quality checks, contributing to model-based workflows, and ensuring that HVAC systems are coordinated, constructible, and compliant with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for HVAC systems.
• Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) models, including coordination of HVAC with other services.
• Ability to interpret and develop detailed Construction Drawings and convert them into accurate 3D models.
• Understanding of Architecture and building services to ensure proper integration of HVAC systems within the overall design.
• Experience as a Modeler or BIM Technician in building or infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of Revit or similar BIM software; familiarity with clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks) is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow BIM standards, and commitment to quality and coordination.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
• Prior experience in digital engineering or coordination for complex building projects is desirable.
