Strategy and Venture Creation Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced venture builder, founder, operator, strategist, or business leader who can turn promising opportunities into real businesses.

You understand how to assess markets, develop business models, validate ideas, and work with technical teams and founders to take an opportunity from early-stage validation through launch and growth.

What you’ll do:

• Own the strategy and venture pipeline at QuantumX Ventures
• Identify and evaluate problems, markets and technologies with venture potential
• Lead selected opportunities from validation through venture launch
• Develop business models, market strategies and initial operating plans
• Work closely with researchers, engineers, founders and operators
• Help identify and build the right founding team for each venture
• Work with leadership to decide which opportunities to build, pause or stop
• Support early ventures through product validation, customer development and initial growth
• Build relationships with founders, industry experts, investors and strategic partners
• Track venture progress against clear milestones

What you have:

• 2+ years of experience in venture building, startups, strategy, corporate innovation, business development or a similar role
• Demonstrated experience building, launching or scaling a venture, business unit or startup initiative
• Strong understanding of market assessment and business model development
• Strong commercial and analytical thinking
• Ability to work across technical and business teams
• Experience working with founders or senior leadership
• Strong ownership and ability to operate independently
• Experience in deep tech, quantum, AI or emerging technology is a plus
