Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RPG-based applications on IBM i systems.
• Lead enhancements and defect fixes for supply chain applications supporting order fulfillment, purchase order processing, and transportation operations.
• Build and support integrations using Web Services, JSON, and Web API interfaces.
• Modernize legacy RPG code to RPG IV, ILE, and free-format standards where required.
• Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for production applications.

Skills Required:

• 8+ years of RPG development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with RPG, RPG ILE, and RPG/400 development on IBM i.
• Working knowledge of CL, DDS, DB2/400, and service programs in enterprise application environments.
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, secure, and maintainable backend code for business systems.
• Experience integrating RPG applications with external systems through APIs, JSON, and Web Services.

Good to Have:

• Experience with legacy code modernization from RPG III to RPG IV/ILE/free format.
• Background in supply chain systems and related business processes.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
